Playojo ties every bonus to a wagering condition, and that condition is the part players tend to skim past. What most players misread is not the size of the balance but how much of it must be played through before a withdrawal can happen. In practice, the bonus balance is a playing balance first and money in your pocket second.
Activating the Offer Step by Step
The offer is not applied to your account on its own, so the order of these steps matters for whether it lands at all.
- Log into your account through the Playojo login page and open the promotions area in your profile. The section shows which offers are open to you and which are not.
- Pick the one bonus you want and read its full conditions before you press anything. Choosing first and reading later leaves you bound to rules you have not seen.
- Make the qualifying deposit the offer asks for, using a payment route that the offer accepts. A deposit from an excluded route can leave you with no bonus at all.
- Enter the code if one applies, exactly as shown, in the field on the deposit screen. A code typed with a wrong character is treated as no code.
- Confirm the deposit and wait for the bonus to show as an active balance in your account. If it does not appear, note the time and contact support rather than depositing again.
- Open the bonus details in your profile once it is active and note the game weighting and the time window. Those two facts decide how you play from that moment on.
- Start playing with the bonus in front of your own money where the rules require it, and keep an eye on progress. Falling behind the time window is the quietest way to lose an active bonus.
One account can only hold one active bonus in most setups, so finish or give up the current one before claiming another. A second claim on top of a running bonus is often refused, and the deposit that came with it may not qualify either.
What the Terms Mean for Your Balance
The table below sets out the conditions behind a bonus and what each one does to your money.
| Term | What it means | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Wagering requirement | How much you must bet before bonus winnings can be withdrawn | Whether it applies to the bonus only or to deposit plus bonus |
| Game weighting | The share of each bet that counts toward wagering | Which games count in full and which count partly |
| Time window | The period in which the requirement must be met | When the countdown starts and what happens at the end |
| Maximum bet | The largest stake allowed while a bonus is active | The figure in the conditions, not the table limit on the game |
| Maximum conversion | The ceiling on what a bonus can turn into as cash | Whether the cap covers winnings or the bonus itself |
The term players misread most is game weighting. A player who spends the whole window on a low-weight game can finish with the requirement barely moved. The screen shows your progress, but it does not show why the progress is slow. The same stake on a fully weighted game would have counted several times over. That gap is where most confusion about bonuses comes from. Reading the weighting list before your first spin answers the question the progress bar cannot.
An Example of How Wagering Adds Up
The numbers below are an illustration built to show the arithmetic, not the actual terms of Playojo. They show how a requirement is calculated and how long it can take to clear, using a deposit of 30 and a wagering factor of 40.
The basic formula is simple: the amount the requirement applies to, multiplied by the factor, gives the total you must bet. With a deposit of 30 and a factor of 40, a requirement set on the deposit alone comes to 1,200 in bets. https://playojo-ca.net publishes its own figures, and those are the ones that apply to your account. The example here exists only to make the arithmetic visible. Once you know the formula, any figure becomes easy to follow.
Now suppose the requirement applies to deposit plus a bonus of 30, so the base amount is 60. Multiplied by 40, that gives 2,400 in total bets. Doubling the base doubles the work, even though the factor never changed. Players often assume the factor is the only thing that matters. In truth, what the factor is applied to moves the total just as much.
Game weighting then stretches or shrinks the total in practice. On a fully weighted game, each bet of 1 reduces the remaining requirement by 1. On a game weighted at a quarter, the same bet reduces it by 0.25, so four times the staking is needed. That is why the same 2,400 requirement can feel short on one game and endless on another. The stake is identical; only the counting differs.
Time is the next factor in the example. If the window is short and your average bet is small, the requirement may not clear before it closes. Raising the stake speeds progress but runs into the maximum bet rule, which caps how much you may wager per round. Going over that cap can void the bonus along with any winnings attached to it. Speed and safety pull in opposite directions here.
Finally, the conversion cap limits the result. Even after clearing the full 2,400 in the example, only part of the winnings may become withdrawable cash. In this illustration that cap is not set, because the real figure belongs to the operator. Treat the cleared requirement as the end of the betting phase, not the end of the process. The cap decides what actually reaches your balance.
Which Games Count Toward the Requirement
Games are grouped by how much of each bet counts, and the groups are not equal. Slots usually carry full or near-full weight, which is why they clear a requirement fastest. Table games and live dealer tables typically carry a fraction or nothing at all. The weighting list sits with the bonus conditions for exactly this reason.
A game weighted at half means a bet of 2 counts as 1 toward the total. A game weighted at a tenth means a bet of 10 counts as 1. On an excluded game, the bet counts as nothing, even though it still uses your balance. Playing an excluded game with a bonus active is the most common way to burn a window without progress.
Stake size interacts with weighting more than players expect. A high stake on a low-weight game can cost a large share of the balance while barely moving the counter. A modest stake on a fully weighted game often gets there faster. Before you settle on a game, compare its weighting against the size of your balance. The comparison usually changes the plan.
The maximum bet rule applies across the board, including on games that count fully. Splitting a large stake into several smaller rounds keeps you inside the cap and still counts each round. A single oversized bet can void the bonus even if everything else was played correctly. Treat the cap as a hard line on every game you open.
Progress is usually counted from your real balance first and the bonus second, so mixed play blurs the picture. Some offers require the bonus to be used before your own funds, which changes the order of play. Keep the weighting list open while you play rather than recalling it from memory. One wrong game choice can undo an evening of otherwise sensible staking.
Cashing Out What the Bonus Turns Into
Withdrawal opens only when the requirement is fully met and the window is still open. A cleared balance with an expired window is normally returned to the operator, not paid out. Finish the requirement with time to spare rather than at the deadline. The last few percent are where windows tend to run out.
The conversion cap decides how much of the winnings can leave the account. Anything above the cap is removed, even when every rule was followed. That is why a large win on a bonus is not the same as a large withdrawal. Players who plan around the cap avoid the disappointment of seeing most of a win disappear.
Account checks usually run before the first payout on a bonus. Submitting identity documents early avoids a stall at the point where the requirement is already done. The same check applies to payment details used for the deposit. A mismatch between the account name and the payment route is a common reason for delay.
If the bonus is cancelled before the requirement is met, the bonus and its winnings usually go with it. Your own deposited funds normally remain, minus anything already lost in play. Cancelling is a real option when the requirement looks unreachable. Weigh what is left against the effort still needed before you decide.
Where the Bonus Slips Away
Most lost bonuses come down to a handful of avoidable choices, and each has a simple counter.
- Playing an excluded game and watching progress stall. Check the weighting list first and keep your play inside the games that count. The counter barely moves on games that are left out.
- Placing a single bet above the maximum while the bonus is active. Keep each round under the cap, even when the game allows more. One oversized round can void everything attached to the bonus.
- Claiming a second bonus before the first is finished. Clear or cancel the active one before you take another. Overlapping bonuses are typically refused and can strand the related deposit.
- Starting late and running out of window. Begin play soon after activation and track how much of the requirement is left. Time lost at the start is rarely recovered at the end.
- Treating the whole winnings balance as cash. Plan for the conversion cap from the first bet and judge the outcome by what can actually be withdrawn. The figure on screen is not the figure you keep.
- Depositing again after a bonus fails to appear. Contact support with the details instead of repeating the deposit. A second deposit rarely fixes the first bonus and can create a second problem.
- Skipping the identity step until payout. Send the documents soon after you claim the bonus. Doing it early keeps the withdrawal from stalling once the requirement is cleared.
