Last session you may have claimed a bonus and played, then found your balance locked because you missed the wagering requirement. That condition decides when bonus money becomes withdrawable. For your money, it means the bonus stays separate until you meet the playthrough, and any winnings from it are not yours to withdraw before then.
Activating the Bonus
Claiming the offer takes a few steps, and the order matters for whether the bonus lands in your account.
- Log in to your account through the phone browser or desktop site. The rocketplay casino app is not required for claiming. Use the same account you will play from.
- Open the promotions or bonus section before making a deposit. Offers are listed there with their conditions. Pick the one that matches how you plan to play.
- Enter the rocketplay casino promo code in the code field if the offer requires one. Codes are case-sensitive, so copy them exactly. A wrong code leaves the bonus unclaimed.
- Make a deposit that meets the minimum for the offer. The deposit must be real money, not another bonus. Check the payment method is allowed for the promotion.
- Confirm the bonus is active in your account before you play. The bonus balance should appear separately from your cash. If it does not, the offer did not attach.
- Use the rocketplay casino free spins on the games named in the offer. Spins usually expire if unused for a set period. Activate them from the bonus area rather than from the game lobby.
- Start playing the games that count toward the requirement. Track your progress in the bonus details. Stop if the balance does not move after a session, and contact support.
Each step protects the bonus from being lost before you start. Skipping the code field is the most common reason an offer fails. The bonus balance and cash balance are separate, so check both after depositing. If a step fails, the offer may not be recoverable, so complete the sequence in order.
Key Terms in Plain Words
The table below sets out the terms that decide how a bonus behaves, what each one means, and what to watch for in your own account.
| Term | What it means | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Wagering requirement | How many times you must play the bonus before withdrawing | Whether it applies to the bonus alone or bonus plus deposit |
| Eligible games | Games that count toward the requirement | How much each game contributes to progress |
| Maximum bet | The highest stake allowed while a bonus is active | Whether the limit applies per spin or per round |
| Expiry | How long the bonus and its winnings stay valid | The date and time shown in your bonus details |
| Withdrawal cap | The most you can withdraw from bonus winnings | Whether the cap applies per bonus or per account |
Players misread the maximum bet term most often. It applies while the bonus is active, not only when you are playing the bonus money. A single stake above the limit can void the bonus and any winnings from it. The wagering requirement is the second most misread term, because players assume it applies to the deposit alone. In most offers it applies to the bonus amount, sometimes to both. The contribution of each game changes how fast you clear the requirement. Expiry is easy to overlook because the clock runs from activation, not from your first bet. The withdrawal cap limits what you keep even after you clear the requirement.
When you claim through rocket-playca.com, the bonus details page shows the requirement and the expiry together. That page is where you track progress and see which games count.
Example Calculation
This is a worked example with illustrative numbers, not the brand’s actual terms. It shows how the formula works so you can apply it to any offer.
Start with a deposit of 50 and a wagering requirement of 25 times the bonus. If the bonus equals the deposit, the bonus amount is 50. The total playthrough is 50 times 25, which equals 1,250. That figure is the amount you must stake, not the amount you must deposit.
Every stake on an eligible game adds to your progress, but only at the game’s contribution rate. A game that contributes fully adds the whole stake; a game that contributes less adds only that share. If you play a game with half contribution, a 2 stake adds 1 to the total. The remaining amount is what you still need to wager.
Assume you play only fully contributing games, so each 1 staked reduces the remaining requirement by 1. After 1,250 in total stakes, the requirement is met. Your bonus balance then converts, and you can request a withdrawal. Until that point, the bonus and its winnings stay locked.
If you mix games with different contribution rates, the total stakes needed rise. Playing half-contribution games means you need twice the stakes to clear the same requirement. Track the remaining amount in your bonus details rather than counting spins. The formula stays the same; only the contribution changes the effort.
Now consider the maximum bet term. A stake above the limit at any point during the bonus can void the whole amount. The example assumes every stake stays within that limit. If a stake breaks it, the calculation no longer matters because the bonus is gone. Keep stakes consistent and within the stated limit to protect the progress you have made.
Which Games Count
Not every game moves your progress toward the requirement. Each game has a contribution rate, and some contribute nothing at all. The rate is listed in the bonus details, not on the game itself. Check it before you settle into a session, because switching games later wastes effort.
Slots usually contribute fully, which makes them the simplest way to clear a requirement. Table games often contribute a smaller share, so they take longer. Live games may be excluded entirely from bonus play. The pattern varies by offer, so the bonus details are the source for each game’s rate.
Free spins from the offer usually play on named games only. Spins used on other games do not activate. Check the game list attached to the spins before you claim. If a spin does not load, the game may not be part of the offer.
Some games are excluded from bonus play altogether, even if they appear in the lobby. Playing an excluded game with a bonus active can void the bonus. The excluded list sits with the bonus details, and it changes between offers. Treat it as part of the rules, not as fine print.
Contribution rates can also differ between the deposit bonus and the free spins. A game that counts fully for the deposit bonus may count differently for spin winnings. Track each balance separately in your account. The bonus details page shows progress for each part of the offer.
Withdrawing After a Bonus
A bonus does not become cash the moment you meet the requirement. The bonus balance converts first, then withdrawal rules apply to the converted amount. The conversion is visible in your account before you request a payout. Check the balance type before you submit a request.
Withdrawal caps limit how much of the bonus winnings you can take out. The cap is stated with the offer, and it applies to the winnings, not the deposit. Any amount above the cap is removed at withdrawal. Knowing the cap early stops you from playing beyond what you can keep.
Identity checks may run before the first payout. The account name, payment details and identity must match. A mismatch pauses the withdrawal until it is resolved. Complete any required checks before you clear the requirement, so the payout is not delayed afterward.
Payment methods used for the deposit usually receive the withdrawal. Some methods are not available for payouts, and the funds go through another route. The cashier shows the available options for your account. Choose a method that accepts the withdrawal before you submit.
Any remaining bonus balance is removed when you withdraw, so clear the full requirement first. Partial progress does not carry over to a new bonus. If you cancel a withdrawal, the bonus may return with its original conditions. Decide on the withdrawal only after the requirement is fully met.
Common Mistakes
Most lost bonuses come from a small set of avoidable actions. Each mistake below has a direct fix you can apply in your next session.
- Entering the wrong promo code. A single wrong character leaves the bonus unclaimed. Copy the code exactly and confirm the bonus balance appears after depositing.
- Placing a stake above the maximum bet. One high stake can void the bonus and its winnings. Set your stake within the limit before you start playing.
- Playing excluded games with a bonus active. Progress does not move and the bonus may be cancelled. Check the excluded list and contribution rates before choosing a game.
- Assuming the deposit alone satisfies the requirement. The bonus amount usually carries the playthrough. Read whether the requirement applies to the bonus or to both amounts.
- Letting the bonus expire mid-play. The clock runs from activation, not from your first bet. Plan sessions so the requirement is met before the expiry shown in your account.
- Requesting a withdrawal before the requirement is met. The bonus and its winnings are removed at that point. Wait until the bonus details show the requirement as complete.
- Ignoring the withdrawal cap. Winnings above the cap are removed at payout. Know the cap before you play so your expectations match the outcome.
Each mistake costs the bonus rather than the deposit, but the effect on your session is the same. The fix is always a check before you act, not after. Players who track the requirement in the bonus details avoid most of these problems. A short pause before depositing or staking prevents the rest.
