On the bus to work you open Barz on your phone browser and see extra funds sitting next to your deposit. That money is not yours until you meet the playthrough requirement, and until then it stays locked behind the bonus balance. Misreading that single condition is the most common reason players lose the extra cash they thought they had won.
Getting the Welcome Offer
The welcome offer appears once you log in and head to the promotions area, and the steps below keep the claim clean.
- Open the Barz casino login page in your phone browser and sign in with your usual details. Land on the account home before you touch any promotion.
- Find the welcome offer in the promotions or bonuses section and note the minimum deposit it asks for. That minimum is a threshold, not a suggestion.
- Make your first deposit with a method the offer allows. A method outside the list can leave the bonus uncredited.
- Enter the bonus code if one is required at deposit. Without it, the system may record a plain deposit and no bonus.
- Confirm the bonus balance appears next to your cash balance. If it does not, stop and resolve it before playing further.
- Read the playthrough figure attached to the offer before you spin. It tells you how much wagering the bonus needs before any of it moves to cash.
- Keep your session within the offer window stated in the promotion. Wagering made after that window does not count toward the requirement.
What the Terms Mean
The table below sets out the conditions that shape how the welcome offer behaves on your account.
| Term | What it means | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Playthrough | The total wagering needed before bonus funds convert to withdrawable cash. | Whether the figure applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus. |
| Eligible games | The games whose bets count toward the playthrough requirement. | Which game categories are included and whether any are excluded. |
| Maximum bet | The largest stake allowed while a bonus is active. | The ceiling per spin or per hand during bonus play. |
| Expiry | The point at which unused bonus funds and their progress lapse. | The window stated in the promotion and how it starts. |
| Withdrawal cap | The most you can take from bonus winnings. | Whether a cap applies and to which part of the balance. |
The term players misread most is playthrough, because it is easy to treat the bonus balance as spendable cash. In practice every bet you place with bonus funds only chips away at the requirement. Your cash balance and your bonus balance behave differently, and only one of them is withdrawable at the start. Until the playthrough is met, a win from bonus funds stays inside the bonus pot. That is why a session can feel successful while your withdrawable amount barely moves. Treat the playthrough figure as the real price of the offer.
Example Calculation
The numbers below are illustrative only and do not reflect the terms of the Barz casino bonus. They show how a playthrough figure turns into a wagering target, using a deposit of 25 and a multiplier of 40.
Start with the amount the multiplier applies to. In this example, the bonus is 25 and the playthrough is set at 40 times the bonus. The formula is bonus amount multiplied by the playthrough multiplier. That gives the total you must wager before any bonus funds become cash.
Apply the numbers: 25 times 40 equals 1,000. That 1,000 is the wagering target, not a fee you pay up front. You reach it by placing eligible bets over as many sessions as the offer window allows. Progress is tracked against the total, so each qualifying bet reduces the remaining amount.
Suppose your eligible bets return an average of half their value in winnings across the session. You would need to place enough bets to cover the full 1,000 target before the bonus converts. Your cash balance can rise or fall along the way, which is why the target is about volume, not luck. The example ignores game weighting, which changes how much each bet contributes.
Now change one variable to see the effect. If the multiplier were 30 instead of 40, the target would be 750 rather than 1,000. A smaller multiplier means less wagering before the bonus becomes cash. A larger one stretches the same bonus over more play. The formula stays the same; only the multiplier moves.
The worked example shows why the playthrough figure matters more than the headline bonus size. A larger bonus at a high multiplier can demand more wagering than a smaller one at a low multiplier. Compare offers on the wagering target, not the bonus amount alone. That comparison is the practical takeaway from this example.
Game Contribution
Not every bet you place counts fully toward the playthrough target. Games carry different contribution levels, and slots often count in full while table games count in part or not at all. That means the same stake can move you toward the target at different speeds. Choosing a game without knowing its contribution is how players stall their progress.
Contribution is usually expressed as a share of each bet that counts toward wagering. A game at full contribution adds the whole stake to your progress; a game at partial contribution adds only a fraction. Some games are excluded entirely, so bets there do nothing for the target. The breakdown sits in the promotion conditions alongside the playthrough figure.
Live dealer tables and some card games commonly sit at the low end of contribution. Slots usually sit at the top, which is why players chasing playthrough often stay on slots. If a game is excluded, playing it while the bonus is active wastes both time and stake. Your progress bar, where the site shows one, is the simplest signal of whether a game counts.
Plan your session around the games that count in full if the target is large. Mixing in low-contribution games slows progress and can push you past the offer window. Check the contribution list before you open a table, not after. Treat game choice as part of the offer, not a separate decision.
Free Spins Rules
Free spins attached to the welcome offer usually arrive with their own conditions, separate from the main playthrough. The spins are credited to a named game, and the winnings they produce carry a wagering requirement of their own. That requirement is often applied to the spin winnings rather than the bonus itself. Treat the spin terms as a second offer inside the first, and note that https://www.barz.uk.com/ sets them out per promotion.
Spin winnings typically land in a bonus balance rather than as cash. That means the playthrough on those winnings must be met before they become withdrawable. The spin value is fixed, so your stake per spin is not something you choose. Any cap on winnings from spins usually applies before the wagering requirement is met.
Spins often carry an expiry shorter than the main bonus window. Unused spins lapse at the end of that period and cannot be recovered. Use them while the offer is live rather than saving them for later. The game named in the offer is the only one where the spins can be played.
Some offers release spins in batches rather than all at once. Each batch may carry its own expiry, which means the clock starts separately for each set. Check how the batches are scheduled so you do not lose the later ones. The wagering on spin winnings still has to be cleared within the main bonus window.
Traps to Avoid
Most lost bonuses come from a handful of avoidable mistakes, and each one has a simple counter.
- Staking above the maximum bet while a bonus is active can void the bonus and its winnings. Keep every stake under the ceiling stated in the offer.
- Playing excluded games wastes progress without warning. Confirm the game list before you open a title.
- Missing the expiry window leaves bonus funds and progress stranded. Note when the window starts and plan sessions around it.
- Withdrawing before the playthrough is met can forfeit the bonus balance. Complete the wagering first if you want to keep the bonus.
- Opening a second bonus while one is active can replace the first and reset progress. Finish or forfeit one offer before claiming another.
- Assuming spin winnings are cash leads to a failed withdrawal attempt. Clear the spin wagering before requesting a payout.
- Ignoring the withdrawal cap on bonus winnings can shrink a large win. Know the cap before you play toward a big result.
Each trap above costs money only because the condition was missed, not because the offer was unfair. A short check of the promotion details before the first bet keeps the bonus usable from start to finish.
